Celebrating our 3 generations of the Payne family leadership, we would like to introduce the Legacy G3 lenses powered by Shamir. The partnership of Shamir and IcareLabs is where design meets excellence.
Proven Technology
As with all Shamir Freeform designs, it is the technology that drives their success. Both the Legacy G3 Plus and Legacy G3 Ultimate utilize the same technology and design that have made the Autograph series of lenses so successful.
It all starts with EyePoint Technology®. This breakthrough is a radical departure from conventional eyeglass analysis tools. In short, it enables the development and manufacture of sophisticated, custom-made progressive lenses. EyePoint Technology utilizes a highly advanced mathematical algorithm which takes into account dozens of parameters including, but not limited to, base curve, Rx, and wearer measurements to create a custom lens design for your patients.
The Legacy G3 Ultimate also utilizes As-Worn Technology® which bridges the gap between the trial frame used by the optometrist when refracting and the actual frame chosen by the patient.
With As-Worn Technology, you will need to include three essential measurements; pantoscopic tilt, vertex distance, and wrap angle. With these measurements, IcareLabs is able to create a lens that wears the same as the refracted through compensation. Those in the Legacy G3 Ultimate will benefit from these extra measurements. When the as-worn is not included in the order, these measurements will fall back to a standardized setting that will still enhance the wearer's experience for most patients.
